United 1-0 Liverpool

It was a great weekend of football. Manchester United beat Liverpool 1-0 in a not so thrilling game. But then, as Vince Lobardi is quoted as saying, 'winning is not everything - it's the only thing.'. Three points in the bag. Arsenal lose to Everton and Chelsea draw with Charlton ...it really can't get much better for a United fan (which if you haven't figured out till now, I am). Rio Ferdinand had a fantastic game - clearing off the line and then scoring a solid header in the 90th minute to win the game. I know Rio has got a lot of stick in the recent past, but this was an excellent display from him. Blame it on Rio !

Chennai and Liverpool

What's the difference between Chennai and Liverpool ?

In Chennai, there is Pongal cinema and in Liverpool there is Sinama Pongolle (say it aloud).

Okay, I know that 98.72% of you would not have got that joke - good for you. If you ever figure it out, you will be glad that you did not understand it in the first place.
